Brooke Kane returns to FloMAX Liffey Celtics as Domino's Women's Super League rosters take shape

Brooke Kane will take to the court for her second season with FloMAX Liffey Celtics, with Nya Epps also boosting the roster. Utility Trust St. Pauls double up with Robles and Piza, while Isabellah Middleton signs for Killester. Kayce Vaile takes a step up from Domino’s Women’s Division One to join Gurranabraher Credit Union Brunell and newly promoted Limerick Celtics welcome Levine and Thompson. 

Brooke Kane commits to FloMAX Liffey Celtics for year two 

Kane, a 6’0 guard from New Hampshire, averaged 17.7 points-per-game in the 2025/26 Domino’s Women’s Super League, helping FloMAX Liffey Celtics earn a spot in the semi-final of the playoffs. She also led her side to the final of the Domino’s WSL National Cup, where she had a 19-point game against UCC Glanmire en-route to the final.  

“We can’t get off to a start like we had last year, that super slow start wasn’t good for the team’s morale. We need to start off early this year, hit the ground running and get that momentum going with an early win. If we do that, then we’ll be good to go,” said Kane. “I think we can do even better than last year. Reaching the semi-final of the playoffs may have come as a surprise to some people, but it wasn’t for us. I would love to see us back in the final and see our name back on the cup.” 

“I think the league is super competitive, and it feels like almost anybody can win it, whether you’re in tenth or first. It’s pretty even across the board, and it’s really aggressive which is what I like,” added Kane. 

Nya Epps joins Hillary Netsiyanwa's side from UC Davis Aggies, where she earned a spot in the Big-West all-defensive team last year. In the 2025/26 season, Epps played all 34 games for UC Davis Aggies, averaging 13 points-per-game and collected 20 or more points seven times throughout the season, including a career-high 28 points against Cal State Bakersfield.

Robles and Piza join Utility Trust St. Paul’s 

James Fleming has welcomed two pros to Killarney with the season beginning in less than a week. Angelina Robles, a 5’5 guard from California, joins Utility Trust St. Paul’s after an outstanding year with South Dakota. Robles made the first team of the All-Summit league and the WNIT All-Tournament team, as she played and started all 36 games for South Dakota. She averaged 19.5 points-per-game in the Summit League tournament and matched her career high 28 points against Oral Roberts. 

Paula Reus Piza joins Utility Trust St. Paul’s from Loyola Marymount University, USA where she became a WCC Regular Season Champion. Hailing from Palma De Mallorca, Spain, Piza appeared in 24 games, finishing with 127 points, 77 rebounds and 25 assists.  

“The fans of St. Paul’s are going to see a versatile player when they see me on the court. They are going to see a lot of fire – I get very excited about baskets, not only mine but my teammates too,” said Piza. “I’ve been playing hard my whole life – teams can double-team or triple-team me but it’s fine, I’m used to it now.” 

“The expectation from James is the same as last year. I know we’re going to get far and we’re going to do great. Our goal is to get to the final and win,” added Piza.

Killester sign Isabellah Middleton and Kayce Vaile steps up to the Super League 

Mark Grennell is looking to add Killester’s name onto the Domino’s Women’s Super League Trophy for a third time in four years and has signed American guard Isabellah Middleton to boost his roster. Middleton averaged 13.7 points-per-game with Iona Gaels in her graduate year, earning an All-MAAC Second Team & MAAC All-Defensive Team selection. 

Gurranabraher Credit Union Brunell have signed Kayce Vaile, who recently featured for Swords Thunder in the Domino’s Women’s Division One. Vaile took the National League by storm in her debut season, averaging over 25 points-per-game and 16.9 rebounds-per-game. Vaile spent the summer with Australian side, McKinnon Cougars, where she helped them claim the Big V Championship and earned herself a spot in the Championship All Star Five. 

“The National League was definitely a change of pace from playing in college, but coming to Ireland and having an automatic impact on the court was great. Playing at the Division One level really helped me grow my game, and helped me build confidence in myself,” said Vaile. “At Brunell we’re young, we’re fast and we want to push the pace. Joining that kind of environment is exactly what I’m excited for.”

Limerick Celtics and VSC Cavan Eagles make big signings 

Newly promoted Limerick Celtics have signed Treasure Thompson and Jeni Levine ahead of the 2026/27 campaign. Thompson enters the league as a 6”2 forward, having recently played for the Wichita State Shockers, USA. She averaged 6.1 points and 4.4 rebounds-per-game, while also leading her team in blocks-per-game. 

Levine joins Limerick Celtics from UNC Greensboro Spartans, where she reached her 1000-point milestone against Wofford. The 5”7 guard was named to the All-SoCon Second Team in the 2025/26 season and scored three 21-point games. Prior to her time at UNCG, she completed three seasons with USC Upstate and appeared in 88 games, averaging 9.0 points per game and 2.9 rebounds per game in the 2024-25 season.

Following an eighth-place finish in the 2025/26 season, VSC Cavan Eagles have brought in Kilah Freelon and Darrione Rogers to bolster the squad. Freelon spent the 2025/26 campaign with Virginia Tech Hokies, where she helped her side finish sixth in the Atlantic Coast Conference. In that season, she hit five double-doubles while also matching her career high 18-points in a game against SMU Mustangs. 

Rogers is a 5”11 guard from Chicago, Illinois, most recently playing for the Miami Hurricanes. Rogers was an ESPN five-star recruit out of Lake Park West High School, before making her move to Miami, where she led the Hurricanes in three-point shooting at 38.5%.
